Atria, Inc Expands Its Portfolio, Acquires Avant Garden, LLC
Kathleen Neth, IHD*, Owner of Avant Garden, LLC in New Fairfield, CT, is pleased to announce she has successfully executed her exit strategy by selling her business to Adam Crowle, President of Atria, Inc. in Wolcott, CT, effective August 1, 2022.
After 40 years in business, Kathleen stated, “it is time to move forward towards my next adventure.” Kathleen will transition Avant Garden’s employees and customers at least through December 31, 2022.
She said, “The main reason we chose Atria to acquire Avant Garden, is the established relationship we have had for many years.” As a matter of fact, Kathleen worked for Adam’s father, Bruce Crowle in 1979 as an interior horticultural technician. The fit could not be better.
Adam and Leila, co-owners of Atria, Inc, are excited about the acquisition. They have always had respect for Kathleen and Avant Garden. Atria aims to significantly improve route density (especially in Fairfield County), add some needed technicians, and work with an industry veteran, Kathleen Neth.
Adam said, “Avant Garden has some amazing customers. Its experienced technicians are a welcomed addition to the Atria team.” He added, “this acquisition has energized our entire staff.”
The entire process took less than two months with Kathleen being a motivated seller, Adam and Leila being a motivated buyer. National Interiorscape Network’s Dick Ott and Art Campbell handled all the fine details and processes. Kathleen said, ” Art and Dick of NIN are an amazing resource. Their professionalism, expertise and knowledge were just what we needed.”
